Journal Entry on Plea of Guilty

              Robert Scott

Now on this 23rd day of May, 1930, Robert Scott defendant above named makes his voluntary appearance before the bar of the above entitled court for the purpose of changing his plea upon an information filed in said court on the 16th Day of May 1930, charging said defendant with the crime of possession of still.
In the State of Oklahoma is present by Harry F. Blake County Attorney, and the Defendant is present in person and thereupon said defendant is duly and legally arranged in open court.
The Court thereupon inquires of said defendant if his true name is Robert Scott, to which inquiry of the Court the Defendant answers in the affirmative and the Court thereupon finds that the defendant having hereto fore been arranged in open Court and advised of his right to cancel (sic) to advise him in all states of the proceeding had against him, his right to trial and time to prepare for the same, and that the defendant has heretofore, to-wit; on the 16th day of May 1930 entered his plea as not guilty.
Thereupon the defendant asks leave of Court to withdraw his plea of not guilty and enter a plea of guilty to the offense charged. To which request the Court ascents and the defendant enters his plea of guilty to the crime charged in the information and requests the Court to forthwith pass judgement and sentence. It is therefore, by the Court,
CONSIDERED, ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the said Robert Scott is guilty as charged in the information and as punishment therefor he pay to the State of Oklahoma, a find (sic) in the sum of $50.00, and in addition to said fine, be imprisoned in the County Jail of Logan County for a period of 30 days, and that said thirty days sentence run concurrent with the sentence in case No. 3493 State of Oklahoma vs. Robert Scott, and that he pay the costs of this prosecution taxed in the sum of $19.50, and in default of payment of such fine and costs, that he be imprisoned in the County Jail in addition to said fine, one day for each additional unpaid $1.00 of such fine and costs, and the Clerk is hereby ordered to issue Commitment in accordance herewith. And that the sureties on his appearance bond are released from all further liability thereon.
It is furthered ordered that said defendant be allowed jail time.
