"BILL" TILGHMAN, NOTED PEACE OFFICER, HERE
Will Lecture At Highland Tonight In Connection With Picture
"Bill" Tilghman, probably the best-known peace officer in Oklahoma, whose career in the early days of Oklahoma prior to statehood, reads like a romance, is in Guthrie today. Tonight he will lecture at the Highland theater in connection with the picture "Passing of the Oklahoma Outlaws." The picture is a true historic reproduction of the pioneer days of Oklahoma and shows many interesting scenes, in which famous outlaws such as Bill Doolin, Bill Dalton, Al Jennings and Henry Starr, are principal actors.
The picture is six reels long and is considered one of the very best ever thrown on the canvas. E. D Nix, former United States marshal of Oklahoma: William Tilghman, Chris Madsen, Heck Thomas and Bud Ledbetteer, all noted officers during the "wild days," appear in the picture also.
It is a wonderful and a thrilling picture and well worth the time of any one to witness. The usual prices prevail.
