Observing Golden Wedding
Mr. And Mrs. C.F. Wandell are to observe their 50th wedding anniversary with open house from 1 to 5 on Saturday afternoon, April 3. All their children and grandchildren plan to be present for the occasion.
Most of this fifty years has been spent here in Coyle by this couple. It was in 1901 when Mr. And Mrs. Wandell came to Coyle to become associated with the publication of the Clipper, which he owned and published from 1912 to 1943.
Mrs. Wandell, who is awaiting the naming of a successor so she can retire as the local postmaster, held this position from 1919 to 1923 and continuously since 1937.
Many friends will want to drop in between 1 and 5 on Saturday afternoon, April 3, and extend their congratulations and best wishes to this well-known local couple whose long married life has been so closely associated with public service in this community.
