Mr. & Mrs. J. B. Vadder
In celebration of their fiftieth wedding anniversary Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Vadder of Lovell, have announced that they will hold open house in the Rebekah Hall of Lovell, on Sunday, September 4, from 2 to 5 p.m.
The couple has lived in and near Lovell since 1891. They were married on September 6, 1905, at the home of the bride's parents, northwest of Crescent, and lived on a farm, west of Lovell, until 1920 when he purchased a general merchandise store in Lovell, which he operated until his retirement in 1945.
They have four children, Karl and Edwin Vadder, and Mrs. Lucille Tallman and Mrs. Verna Mae Nelson, both of Welch, and 16 grandchildren.
Karl Vadder will be celebrating his birthday on September 6, his parent's wedding anniversary.
