Graveside funeral services for Edna Vivian Anderson, 84, of Guthrie, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2006 at Harmony Cemetery, Guthrie, with Pastor Wayne Murphy of Church of God Outreach of Guthrie, officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 20, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and Thursday, December 21, from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Vivian was born July 16, 1922 in Dickens, Iowa to Edgar Vivian and Inis Olive (Hilsebeck) Corbin. She died Tuesday, December 19, 2006 in Guthrie.
She loved her grandchildren, puzzles, bingo and O. U. football. Vivian and Wilbur L. Anderson were married November 27, 1941 in Border, Texas. She worked side by side with her husband on the farm for many years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by one son: Wilbur L. Anderson and wife, Karen, Edmond, Okla; one special grandson, Robert Gill and wife Michelle, Guthrie, and two daughters; Karen Irvin, Comanche, Okla, Sherri Leard and husband Mike, Guthrie; one brother, Melvin Corbin, Arlington, Texas; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur, in January of 2000, both parents and one sister, Olive Harold.
