Died, at 7 o'clock last Friday morning, Mr. W.L. Allen, a prosperous farmer and citizen of Rose Hill township. He was sick fourteen weeks. Everything was done in the way of medical aid but of no avail. He passed into the hands of the Great Judge. He was loved and esteemed by all and will be greatly missed in the community. Mr. Allen was clerk of the school board of Rose Hill township and he filled the place to perfection, and if the board elects a man to fill his place, we hope it will get one as good. He was laid to rest in Mt. Hope cemetery. The community sympathises with the bereaved friends.
