Abe Brothers, Jr. was born the fifth child of Abe and Jewell Brothers on June 18, 1954. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
Abe was born and raised in humble surrounding and was always willing to lend a helping hand to farmers.
He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the St. Paul Baptist Church in Meridian, OK under the late Rev. Dewitt Roland.
Abe graduated from Guthrie High School in 1968. In 1970, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and retired with honors after 25 years of service.
Afterwards, he was employed by Walmart as the manager of the bakery in Indiana.
Abe leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Abe and wife Trina; one daughter, Alesia Dawn; two grandsons, Matthew and Mason; three sisters, Sherry, OKC, OK, Florine and son Aaron of Spencer, OK, Debbie and husband Tony of OKC, OK; three brothers, Paul and wife Janice of Tulsa, OK, Al and wife of Ollivett of Midwest City, OK Kenneth of OKC, OK; a host of nieces and nephews; one very special friend and cousin, Ralph Smith; and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be September 13, 2003, St. Paul Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. in Meridian, OK. Services are under the direction of Pollard Funeral Home in Guthrie.
