Memorial services for Alfonso Brown, Sr., 73, of Guthrie will be held at 4 p.m. August 16, 2003 at the United Baptist Church in Seward with the Rev. Andrew Gilstrap officiating.
Alfonso was born Dec. 8, 1929 in Perry to Raymond and Bessie Brown. He died August 6, 2003 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie.
He worked for the Guthrie Police Department in the 1970's after returning from military service.
