William Bennett, a resident of the Masonic Home at Guthrie, departed this life last Monday and was buried in Guthrie Wednesday.

Mr. Bennett will be remembered by many of the old timers of this county. He formerly lived southwest of Cheyenne on Buffalo creek. He was one of the early day ranchmen.

Mr. Bennett was a teacher and lived alone until about 5 years ago when he realized that he was rapidly becoming old, so he assigned his property to the Masonic lodge and became a resident of the Masonic Home.
