The Mulhall Enterprise
Friday, September 1, 1899

Little Bessie Lula Bell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Bell, was born near Arkansas City, Kansas, on October 6, 1888, and after an illness of nine days died at her home southeast of Mulhall on August 24, 1899. Funeral services were conducted at the house by the writer. May he who knows the sorrow of every heart comfort the hearts of the bereaved parents.
