JIM BRYANT DEAD
James Bryant died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh McGinn, last Monday evening, Feb. 7. Jim, as he was known all over the Southwest, was a cow man in the days when the great herds of cattle had free range over the territory. At the opening of Oklahoma, he located a fine claim adjoining this town and engaged in the saloon business. Few men were better known in the territory. As the world goes he was honest and generous and 'tis a pity that a man of such capabilities should have led no higher life and have died so young. The funeral was conducted by Rev. D.W. Keller and was largely attended.
