PIONEER CRESCENT RESIDENT IS DEAD
Marcus Barnes, pioneer Logan county resident, died at his home, four and on half miles north of Crescent, Monday at the age of 72 years. Barnes settled on the farm north of Crescent in the early days.
Funeral services, to be held at the Crescent Christian church, with Rev. A. A. Harman officiating, were pending word from relatives.
Surviving are the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Edna Hopkins, Swans Valley, Idaho, Mrs. Eva Bashaw, Crescent and Mrs. Twyla Eberle, Kansas City, Mol., and one son, Forrest Barnes, Homer, Ida.
