Burnell Crow

Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Mulhall Friday afternoon for Burnell Crow, one of the oldest naive of Oklahoma. Crow was born on a farm nine miles west of Mulhall on July 30, 1891, little more than two years after the opening.

Death followed an operation at the Cimarron Valley Wesley hospital in Guthrie. Crow had been ill for three weeks at his home in Mulhall prior to his death on May 30.

The well-known Logan county citizen was the son of Joseph H. and Mary Crow, pioneers in the Mulhall community. He was married in 1910 to Miss Ruth Tillier. Surviving are two children, Marguerite and Billy; his mother, Mrs. Mary McKinley; three nieces, Mrs. Loretta Hodges, Mrs. Lera Raffell and Mrs. Treva Childers.

Rev. G. W. McQuiddy, pastor of the First Christian church at Guthrie, conducted funeral services at Mulhall. Burial was made in the Rose Lawn Cemetery at Mulhall.
