Beloved Mother and longtime Guthrie resident, Pat Casey, died Friday at the age of 81. Patricia Marie Watts was born on Jan. 23, 1923, in Arkansas City, Kan. She was married to Air Force CMSgt. William "Bill" Casey for 24 years until his death in 1970.
Pat was also preceded in death by an infant son, William, Jr.
She is survived by her four daughters; Mrs. Wayne (Patricia) Gilbert, Theresa Casey (Lellew), Margaret Casey Shiff, and Mary Casey, two sisters Dorothy Watts Stacy and Rosemary Watts Witcher; two brothers: John Watts and C. S. "Smitty" Watts; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Pat dedicated her life to the services of others and her Lord - (Pray. 31:10 - 31). Her funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, April 19 at the First Christian Church, Guthrie, with graveside services to follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Guthrie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony Hospital Foundation, Sisters Fund, 826 N. W. 11, Oklahoma City, OK, 73106.
Visitation will be held at Smith Memorial Chapel Sunday from 1 - 8:00 p.m.
