Mother Of City Clerk Dies In Guthrie Saturday
Services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Davis-Owen funeral home for Mrs. Kate Charvoz, who died Saturday afternoon at her home, 515 E. Harrison.
Rev. E. J. Hendrix, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of which Mrs. Charvoz was a member, will have charge of the services and burial will be made in Summit View cemetery.
Mrs. Charvoz was an '89er, coming here with her husband who homesteaded west of Guthrie. About 18 years ago she moved to town where she has lived since that time.
Survivors are four daughters, Miss Margaret Charvoz, Miss Hallie Charvoz, Guthrie city clerk, and Mrs. Walter Peebles, all of Guthrie, and Miss Ruby Sharvoz, Fort Worth, Tex.; three sons, Frank, Mutual, Walter, Guthrie and Clyde, Tulsa; one brother, Philip Young, Osage City, Kas., and one sister, Mrs. Harry Randle, Pittsburg, Kas.
