Our beloved Lillian Coyne went to walk with the angels in Heaven on February 23, 2006. She was born September 9, 1921, in Ameagle, W. V. She spent the last seven years in Guthrie near her family. She retired from General Electric in Baltimore, MD.
She was preceded in death by her father, Christopher Jarrell, and mother, Cordelia (Hodge) Jarrell, and one son, John Wayne Lafferty, her husbands, John Lafferty, Pete Strauss and Frank Coyne, brothers, George, Edward, Christopher, Jr., Bud, Benjamin, Charles, Griffie and Danny and sisters, Elizabeth and Beatrice.
Lillian is survived by sons, Ed Lafferty and Katy and Jim Lafferty and Janet; brother, Ted Jarrell, Austin, TX; sisters, Marbra Butler, Prospect, W. V., Yvonne Holston, Beckley, W. V. and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and many dear friends. And let's not forget her beloved poodle, Troubles.
Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie, OK.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 27, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Smith Memorial Chapel, Guthrie, OK. Interment will be at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Burnie, MD.
Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, February 26, from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m.
