Memorial services for Troy L. "Vern" Cox, 82, of Roseburg, Ore. will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999 in the Cornerstone Family Fellowship, 2837 W. Harvard in Roseburg, Ore. officiated by Pastor Steve Sherman.

Troy was born May 14, 1917 in Guthrie, Okla. to Charles and Ethel Schaffer) Cox. He passed away Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999 at his home following a lengthy illness.

He served as a staff sergeant in the Army during World War II and was employed as a heavy equipment operator for many years.
