Funeral services for Clifford T. Dick, 75, of Covington will be at 2
p.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Covington. The Rev. Jerry
Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in the Covington Cemetery
under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Dick was born July 1, 1925 in Mulhall to Howard and Georgie Willford
Dick and died February 15, 2001 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.
Clifford was raised and attended school in Mulhall. On June 19, 1947
he married Virginia (Judy) Mack in Wellington, Kan. They moved to
Covington where he spent the rest of his life. He worked for Gold
Spot, Hackney Supply, Vance Air Force Base, and after 11 years he
retired from Garfield County District 1 as a refueling foreman. He was
a member of the Moose Lodge in Enid, and of the St. John's Lutheran
Church of Covington, where he served for several years as an elder.
He is survived by his wife, Judy, of the home; two daughters, Margaret and husband Tommy Lloyd of Harrah and Cynthia Walter of Perry; and
four grandchildren, Michael and Andrea Lloyd of Harrah and Chuck and
Shianna Walter of Perry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the St. John's Lutheran Church.
