Funeral services for Roman Gabriel DeFuentes, 18, of Crescent, will be Wednesday, March 31 at 2 p.m. at Crescent High School Gymnasium. Rosary service will be Tuesday, March 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Abernathy Funeral Chapel. Rev. Marty Harkey and Pastor Bill Williams will officiate. Interment will be at Crescent Cemetery under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home, Crescent.
Roman was born July 23, 1985, in Oklahoma City to Frank Jr. and Maria (Segura) DeFuentes. He graduated from Crescent High School in 2003. He died Saturday, March 27, 2004, in Oklahoma City.
Roman is survived by his parents, Frank and Maria DeFuentes, Crescent; a brother, Steven DeFuentes, Crescent; a sister, Melissa DeFuentes, Crescent; maternal grandparents, Gilberto and Cruz Segura, Ft. Worth, Texas; paternal grandparents, Mary Ann Gail, Crescent, and Frankie DeFuentes, Sr., Sacramento, Calif; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
