Graveside services for Doris A. Elder, 77, formerly of Crescent, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2001 in the Littleton Cemetery near Mulvane, Kan. under the direction of Senter-Smith Mortuary of Mulvane.
Elder was born January 16, 1924 in Stillwater to Leonard and Mary Sam (Crockett) Andrews. She died March 15, 2001 at her home in Mulvane.
She married Paul E. Elder in Stillwater on December 22, 1945.
She was a first and second-grade teacher in Guthrie and Lawton before moving to Kansas.
A memorial has been established with the National Parkinson Foundation.
