The Mulhall Enterprise Mulhall, Logan Co., O.T. Saturday, November 9, 1895
IN MEMORIAM.
After a short but painful illness, little Dena, youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. John Fallin, paid the debt of nature and passed Death's portals, to everlasting rest. She was a sweet winning little child of 23 months, bright and full of promise, but her life was cut short by that dread and fatal disease, membranous croup. After a brave struggle for life, she gave up the unequal contest at half past eleven Nov. 4th.
"But hushed be every thought that springs
From out the bitterness of things
Her quiet is secure;
No thorns can pierce her tender feet
Whose life was, like the violet, sweet
As climbing jasmine, pure."
The sympathy of neighbors and friends are with the bereaved father and mother and sisters and brothers of little Dena. The funeral occured Tuesday at 10 o'clock.
