The Mulhall Enterprise
Friday, June 26, 1903

After a painful illness of several weeks, Frank Ellison Faires died, at the home of his father four miles south of Mulhall, June 21, 1903. He was born July 1st 1890 in Ray Co. Missouri and came with his father J.D. Faires and family to Oklahoma in 1896. He was baptized by Rev. D.W. Keller in July 1900. Last February, under the ministrations of Elder Tabor, he joined the Christian church at Antioch. Frank was never very strong and was his father's constant companion and helper. He was conscious till the last, and knew that his time was near. He told those about him that he would not last another week and true to his prediction death came within the time. He bid goodby to father, mother, brothers, and sisters, and exhorted those not already Christians to prepare for death.
He leaves a father and mother and nine brothers and sisters and many friends to mourn his departure. A sister, Mrs. Rosa McQuery, arrived from Missouri, two hours before his death. The funeral was largely attended at Antioch Christian church, June 22. Wm. Judd conducted the services. The body was laid in Rose Lawn Cemetery.
