Miss Artie Garner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Garner living west of Mulhall died at the home of her brother, Carl Garner at Cannon City, Colorado, July 12, 1924. She went to Colorado about two years ago in quest of health. At times there was a marked improvement in her health, but it proved to be only temporary. Miss Garner was born in Kansas October 7, 1896 and came to Oklahoma with her parents when they moved to the state. The parents and two brothers survive her. The body arrived at Mulhall Tuesday noon. Funeral services were held at the Mount Carmel church Wednesday, conducted by the pastor, Rev. W. W. Martin. Interment in Victor cemetery. Artie's death brought sadness to many friends in this vicinity.
