Deanna Kay (Miller) Gooch was born September 28, 1939 in Guthrie. She had been ill for some time with Alzheimer's Disease and died Thursday, December 12, 2002 of pneumonia.

Kay grew up and attended school in Guthrie.

Survivors include her son, Doyle Ray Gooch of Guthrie, and daughter, Susan Lawrence of Oklahoma CIty, and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan, in 1995. They had been married 38 years at that time.

She had been a faithful Jehovah's Witness since 1969 and will be missed by a number of spiritual brothers and sisters in both Oklahoma and Kansas, where she lived for several years. Kay will be especially missed by her sister, Rosie Ellis and her daughter, Susan, who were also her spiritual sisters.

She will be cremated and there will be no service. She would want you to remember her as she was before the devastating illness took its toll on her life.
