Died of cancer on the face Francis M. Goin. Was born in Decator Co., Iowa, August 1st, 1836. Was married to M.E. Lee October, 1868, in Cedar Co., Iowa. Moved to Rice Co., Kas., in 1872. Was converted in 1888, and united with the Missionary Baptist church at Leesburg, Kansas. Came to Oklahoma in 1889, and was one of the charter members of Paradise Prairie Baptist church, and was ordained a deacon of the same in which he lived a worthy and beloved member till the time of his death which took place on September 18, 1896, making him 60 years one month and seventeen days. He leaves a wife and six children to mourn his loss. The services was conducted by the writer who had been his pastor. The remains were then followed to the cemetery by a large procession of citizens and friends.
