Colonel Henry E. Glazier well known in this vicinity died at Guthrie April 11, 1902, of Brights disease. Colonel Glazier was among the early settlers having located the quarter adjoining Orlando on the south west. He was a soldier in the civil war and arose from the ranks to be a captain for meritorious conduct. He has been identified with the agricultural college at Stillwater first as a regent and also as the professor of agriculture and horticulture. He was the father of Mrs. George H. Dobson of Guthrie and a brother of Al Glazier, conductor on the Santa Fe. Henry E. Glazier was born in Cayhoga county, Ohio, in 1839. The funeral took place April 12.
