A celebration of the life of John "Uncle P." Grant, 62, of Guthrie will be held Wednesday, April 2, at 6 p.m. For directions, call Jean.

Grant was born Dec. 7, 1940. He died on Friday, March 28, 2003 at 7:15 p.m. of complications from liver cancer. He is being cremated as he wished.

He faithfully served his country in Vietnam. Upon returning back to the U.S., he became a welder. His hobbies were fishing and cooking. He will be missed dearly.

Survivors include one son, "Little" John of the home.
