Memorial services for Loretta Ruth Gillette, 83, of Guthrie will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2002 at First United Methodist Church in Guthrie with the Rev. Roger Pitts officiating. Services are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home

Gillette was born July 21, 1918 in Guthrie to C. L. and Maxine (Mater) McCoy. She died Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie.

Loretta had lived in this area all of her life. She was a very active member of West Guthrie United Methodist Church. She was a housewife and a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, C. T. "Tom" Bailey and wife Barbra of Crescent; two step-sons, Ronnie Gillette and Donnie Gillette, both of Guthrie; two stepdaughters, Rita Prochaska and Barbara Capps, both of Arkansas City, Kan.; two sisters, Roberta Diaz of San Diego, Calif. and Dorothy Cornie of Escondido, Calif.; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren and a number of Step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, N. I. Gillette, one daughter, Suzie Mize, and two brothers.
