Funeal services for Vera Mae Gellenbeck, 73, of Guthrie will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2003 at the Church of God Chapel in Guthrie with Brother Stanley Dickson and Brother Ed Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery in Bethany under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Guthrie.

Vera was born Jan. 26, 1930 in Springfield, Mo. to Paul and Violet Elizabeth Gibson. She died Thursday, June 5, 2003 in Stanford, Ky.

She was a member of the Church of God Chapel in Guthrie.

She married Harry D. Gellenbeck on October 24, 1948. He preceded her in death in 1984.

She was also preceded in death by one son, John David, and two great-granddaughters.

Survivors include five sons, Paul of Bethany, Dan and his wife Angela of Stanford, Ky., and Mark and his wife Liz, Steven and his wife Margie and Phillip and his wife Rosie, all of Guthrie; two daughters, Jeannine Miles and her husband Lonnie of Guthrie and Carla Delano and her husband Bill of Oklahoma City; 23 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister, Mary Elizabeth Paul and friend Will R. Jones of Katy, Texas; and one brother, James R. Gibson and wife Jewell of Kansas City, Mo.

Visitation for family and firneds will take place Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday until noon.
