Services are pending for Audre' L. Henry, 67, mother of Gov. Brad Henry, with Walker Funeral Home of Shawnee. Henry, who had been battling complications related to diabetes, died Sunday in a hospital near her home in Modesto, Calif. The Governor and other family members were at her side.
The Henry family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Mrs. Henry's name to: The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence, 120 N. Robinson, Suite 2618, Oklahoma City, OK 73102. The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence is a non-profit organization that supports Oklahoma public education.
