Elizabeth Hutchinson was born in Monroe County, W. Va., May 2, 1847. She was married to Elijah F. Hutchinson at Marshalltown, October 18, 1865. She was 69 years old at the time of her death. Six children were born to the union:

Mrs. T. M. Logan, Mrs. F. W. Hewit, Luella Waneta, died when a baby; Mrs. Stuart McKay, Miss Georgie Hutchinson, Miss Marjorie Hutchinson.

Her husband died July 25, 1889.
