Earl S. Heiden
Funeral services for Earl S. Heiden, 82 of Guthrie will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 4,1 996, at the Smith Memorial Chapel with Dr. E. B. Compton officiating. Burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Guthrie's Smith Funeral Home.
Earl was born on June 24, 1914 in Logan County to A. and Hattie Heiden. He died Oct. 2, 1996 at Logan Hospital And Medical Center.
Earl was a longtime farmer and rancher in Logan County. he also served as Logan County Commissioner; He was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Guthrie. he served in the U. S. Army in World War II.
He is survived by one son, Earl Heiden Jr., and wife Vonda; one sister, Eva Gooch; three grandchildren, Annemarie Gysbers and husband John; David Heiden and wife Heather and Vicki Vanloo and husband Kevin; and two great grandchildren, Ty Heiden and Grant Gysbers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula B. Heiden in 1990.
Friends may call at the funeral home until 1 p.m. Friday.
