Howe lived in Edmond and was born in Guthrie to Mr. and Mrs. Alton Howe on March 17, 1941. Howe attended Guthrie public schools and graduated with the class of 1959. Howe married Carolyn J. Wells on December 6, 1960. The Howes had three kids, Richard Allen of Dallas; Jerry Patrick of Edmond and Jamie K. Patton of Edmond. Howe is also survived by two granddaughters, Angel Patton and Reagan Leta Howe, his mother Ernestine Howe, his brother Stanley and sisters, Shirley Newman and Willa Jean Korright.
