The Mulhall Enterprise

Died, at her home at Standard, near 12 o'clock January 14, 1903, Mrs. J.P. Havenstrite. Mrs. Havenstrite and family are well known in the community. She was 73 years of age. Her husband, J.P. Havenstrite who survives her, was formerly justice of the peace in this town. The funeral was held Thursday.

Hannah Barry was born in Monroe county, Penn., on the 26th day of April, 1830. She was united in marriage with J.P. Havenstrite on the 2nd day of May 1852. She died on the 14th day of January, 1903, aged 72 years, 8 months and 17 days.
Nine children were born to this union of whom four sons and one daughter, with the husband, remain to mourn her loss.
She was converted about the year 1849 and immediately joined the Methodist church, of which church she was an active member at the time of her death. She died in the triumphs of the living faith.
Three of the sons reside at Standard, Okla., one in Iowa, and the daughter in Illinois. Rev. Mark White, her pastor, conducted the funeral services at Fair View church Friday the 16th.
