Funeral services for Francis A. "Dutch" Jones, 93, of Guthrie, Okla., will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at Smith Memorial Chapel in Guthrie. Gene Warfel, of Guthrie Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Guthrie under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Guthrie.
Francis was born March 27, 1906, in Wahlthaul, Okla., to John and Mary Elizabeth Jones. He died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at Logan Hospital and Medical Center in Guthrie.
He was a member of the Guthrie Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ted Jones, of Harmon, Okla., and Charlie Jones, of Chaddock, Okla.; two great-great-grandchildren, Conner and Emily; and a son, Kenneth Jones, in 1988.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey, of the home; one son, Jerry D. Jones and wife Vickie; one daughter, Linda Terrill and husband Billy; one step-son, William D. Dodgion and wife Nancy; one sister, Maggie Coykendall; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one daughter, Maxine Jones.
Friends may call at Smith Funeral Home, Sunday, from 1-8 p.m

Funeral services for Francis Albert "Dutch" Jones, 93, of Guthrie, Okla. were 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 1999 at Smith Memorial Chapel in Guthrie. Gene Warfel of Guthrie Christian Church officiated. Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Guthrie under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Guthrie.
Dutch was born March 27, 1906 in Wahlthaul, Okla. Indian Territory to John and Mary Elizabeth Jones. He passed away Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center in Guthrie.
He was a member of the Guthrie Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by two brothers,Ted Jones of Harmon, Okla. and Charlie Jones of Shattuck, Okla.; one son from a previous marriage, Kenneth Jones, in 1988, and two great-grandchildren, Conner Welch and Emily Brown.
On June 24, 1944 in Canadian, Texas, Dutch was united in marriage to Audrey L. "Billie" King. They moved from Arnett, Okla. to Edmond in 1952. Dutch was an automobile mechanic employed by Chet Moore Chevrolet. He retired and they moved to Guthrie in 1976. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid gardener.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Audrey L. "Billie" Jones of the home; one son, Jerry D. Jones, and wife Vickie; one daughter, Linda Terrill and husband Billy; one daughter by a previous marriage, Maxine Jones; one step-son, William D. Dodgion and wife Nancy; one sister, Maggie Coykendall; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was a wonderful man who will be missed
