Monroe John Jackson of Guthrie, passed away at his home on Jan. 15, 2001.
Monroe retired from the United States Air Force and was a rancher in Del Valle, Texas before moving to Guthrie in 1996.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria, and her son sons, Mark C. Pearson and Michael A. Pearson, all of Guthrie; three sisters, Janet McInnish and Cleo Travis both of Alexandria, La., and Helen Joy Place, Lake Charles, La.; and a brother, Leonard Jackson, Rockwood, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Mary Belle Jackson; and two sisters, Laura Belle and Dahlia.
Burial will be in Austin, Texas under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Guthrie.
