Mons Johnson died at the home of a brother in Bismark township, September 2, at 9 o'clock in the morning. Mr. Johnson lived on his farm 8 miles northwest of Mulhall for several years. On account of failing health he sold out about a year ago and went to Moran, Kansas, he also went to Colorado expecting to be benefited, but his disease, consumption, had taken too strong a hold on him and he grew worse. About three weeks ago he returned here but gradually sunk away. Mr. Johnson was an industrious man and a good citizen.
