Crash on Interstate 35 at mile marker 159. Mrs. Ora Jones was declared dead at the scene. She was ejected from a car driven by her husband, 62 year old Ross Jones. Eight year old daughter Charlotte and Mr. Jones were taken to the Logan County Health Center where they were treated and released.
The accident happened in the southbound lane shortly after 6 a.m. when a semi attempted to pass and struck the rear of the Jones car in the rear sending it out of control. The vehicle rolled twice.

Jones Rites Tuesday.    Mulhall - Funeral for Mrs. Ora Beatrice Jones, 54, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Guthrie. Burial will be in Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie.
Mrs. Jones was killed Friday in an automobile accident. She was born September 5, 1926 in North English, Iowa.
Mrs. Jones moved to Mulhall from Iowa in 1971. She was employed by the Oklahoma Furniture Factory and Oklahoma State University.
Survivors include her husband, Ross Jones of the home; 2 sons, David Johnson of Guthrie and Richard Johnson of Cedar Falls, IA; 2 daughters, Charlotte of the home and Nancy Johnson, of Edmond; her mother, Mrs. Sarah Popham of Mulhall, and 3 grandchildren.
