Little Russell, the nine month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry King, died Wednesday Sept. 10, 1902, on Dr. McPeek's farm seven miles northwest of Mulhall. Little Russell had been sick for a long time, he apparently, was getting along all right until about noon on Wednesday, he went into sinking spells, and in a little while was sleeping to wake no more on this earth, but his spirit has gone to the God who gave it, and is rejoicing with the angels in heaven. The funeral was preached Thursday at the house by Rev. J.W. McNally after which the remains were laid to rest in the Pleasant Valley grave yard. The bereaved friends have the sympathy of the neighborhood.
