Funeral services are pending for Archie M. Lindsey. Archie died on April 14, 2004, in Lenexa, Kan. Services are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Archie M. Lindsey, 76, a retired industrial biochemist, of Overland Park, Kan., passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at Delmar Garden of Lenexa following an extended illness.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 17 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guthrie, Rev. Denis Hanrahan officiating. Burial will take place Saturday in St. Patrick's Cemetery AKA Lockridge Cemetery on Sorghum Mill Rd.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Holy Spirit in Overland Park, Kan., or the maintenance fun at St. Partrick's Cemetery in care of St. Monica's Church in Edmond.
Mr. Lindsey was born Aug. 4, 1927, in Guthrie to the late Archie I. and Doris Lindsey. He was a 1946 graduate of Guthrie High School. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Oklahoma Central College and did his post-graduate work at the University of Oklahoma. He served in the United States Navy Medical Corps. He worked as a biochemist for Palmolive Colgate in KCK for 20 years retiring in 1983.
Archie is survived by his wife, Lillian (Corky) of the home, his sister, Sister Helen Lindsey ASC of Wichita, Kan., and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Dorothy Laurette Lindsey.
