Funeral services for Clara Lorene Landis, 100, of Guthrie will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2003 at Guthrie Christian Church in Guthrie with the Rev. Don Riepe and Jerry Wamsley officiating. Burial will follow in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Clara was born August 28, 1902 in Argonia, Kansas to Henry and Harriot May Naughter. She died Sunday, Secember 29, 2002 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie.

Clara was a member of Guthrie Christian Church, the Rose Garden Club and the Oak Ridge Better Neighbor Club. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting for her family

Survivors include one son, Lester H. Landis and wife Barbara of Edmond; three daughters, Lorene Chappell and husband Warren of Guthrie, Eleanor Hoel of Guthrie and Norma Deane Jarnagin of Guthrie; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters.

Visitation for family and friends will take place Thursday, January 2, 2003 until 8 p.m.
