Rites were held Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Fannie Lewellen, 77, who died Monday at her home at Mulhall following a long illness. Rev. C.M. Howe, Christian church pastor, officiated. Burial was made in Rose Lawn cemetery Mulhall, under the direction of Smith Funeral home.
Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Lewellen were married April, 1924. Mr. Lewellen died September 17, 1924. Mrs. Lewellen transferred her membership from the Antioch Christian Church to the Mulhall Christian church on March 7, 1928.
Survivors include three sons, Roy Lewellen, Hagerman, Idaho, Will Lewellen, Canon City, Colo., and Almer Lewellen, Perry; three daughters, Mrs. Lestie Faires, Shamrock, Mrs. Edna Warren and Mrs. Ivy Combs, Mulhall, and 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Flora Young, Cushing, Mrs. Nancy Young, Bonners Ferry, Idaho and Mrs. Ona Nichols, Cedar Vale, Kans; one brother, John Campbell, Cedar Vale, Kans., all were present for the funeral services except one sister, Mrs. Nancy Young.
