Memorial services for Harry D. Lingerfelt, 53, of Santa Maria, Calif. were 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999 in the chapel of Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria, Calif. under the direction of Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary of Santa Maria, Calif.
Private interment will be at a later date.
Harry was born Aug. 25, 1946 in Guthrie, Okla. He died Oct. 29, 1999 at Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria, Calif.
Harry was born and raised in Guthrie where he attended local schools and graduated from Guthrie High School in 1964. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1965-1968 and moved to Santa Maria, Calif. in 1973. He worked at Vandenberg Air Force Base until 1990 and then worked as a computer teacher at the Santa Barbara Business College in Santa Maria for 4 years. He had worked at Marian Medical Center as the computer network administrator since 1996.
His hobbies included playing guitar and helping people with their computer needs. He was a member and guitarist at the Unity Chapel of Light in Santa Maria.
Harry was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Lingerfelt, who died in 1986.
He is survived by a daughter, Angelica M. Lingerfelt; his father, Wesley Lingerfelt Sr.; brothers, Wesley Lingerfelt, Edward Lingerfelt, Bill Lingerfelt and Robert Lingerfelt and Ron Lingerfelt; sisters, Maggie Holbrook and Karen McCoy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
