Graveside services for Walter W. Lotz, 87, longtime resident of the Shidler community, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999 at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Ponca City, Okla. Services will be officiated by Rev. Ruth Tipps under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City. He was born Jan. 20, 1912 at Bartlesville, Okla. to H.A. Lotz and Ethel (Kelley) Lotz.He passed away Monday, Oct. 25, 1999 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Ponca City.

Walter retired from the Phillips Petroleum Company in 1972 after 38 years and worked as an electrician for Phillips in the Burbank field. He was a member of the Shidler United Methodist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Shidler. Family and friends may call at the Shidler Chapel from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
