At the time of his death Mr. McClure was 30 years of age. He leaves a wife and two sons, mother and father and four brothers and sisters. He had been in ill health for several months prior to his death, but had remained at his post as assistant cashier of the Cimarron Valley bank at Coyle until Saturday prior to his death. Dr. Basham of Wichita, an old friend of the McClure family, performed the operation. He had been connected with the Coyle bank for the past seven years. He was a son-in-law of President C. S. Reed of the Cimarron Valley bank. Charles S. Olsen, long time friend of the family, accompanied the remains to Shawnee and was present at the funeral.
