Services were held in Oklahoma City, at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, for Elmore Edwin McGinley, 53, who died early Sunday in Oklahoma City, after a long illness. McGinley was a resident of Guthrie for 25 years, moving to Oklahoma City seven years ago.
He was the son of Major N. D. McGinley, former superintendent of the Union Soldiers' home in Oklahoma City. Major McGinley was a Civil War veteran.
Burial was made at Memorial Park south of Edmond, McGinley had engaged in the oil business in Guthrie, Tulsa, Fort Worth and Oklahoma City.
