Graveside services for Harold Lewis Maker, 97, of Guthrie were 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at Summit View Cemetery. Services were officiated by Rev. Ken Wray of West Guthrie United Methodist Church under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Guthrie.
Harold was born Sept. 10, 1902, in Waterloo, Okla., to Albert and Udella Maker. He died Friday, Oct. 1, 1999, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie.
Harold founded Maker's Glass Shop in 1948 and was a member of the West Guthrie United Methodist Church. He and Esther had been married for more than 75 years.
Harold was preceded in death by one son, William Harold (Billy) Maker.
He is survived by his wife, Esther; three sons, Delbert Maker and his wife Mary Jo, Linden Maker and his wife Joan, Tommy Maker and his wife Peggy; one daughter, Elnora Paul and her husband Herman; 19 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, and one daughter-in-law, Laverne Maker.
