Funeral services for John William Douglas Marrow, Jr., 66, of Edmond, Okla., will be held at Smith Memorial Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2001 with Phyllis Brown of Victory Christ Church of Stillwater, Okla., officiating. Burial will be in Seward Cemetery in Seward, Okla., directed by Smith Funeral Home in Guthrie, Okla.
John was born on July 5, 1934 in Tecumseh, Okla., to John and Ella Marrow, Sr. He died Friday, March 9, 2001 at Edmond Regional Hospital in Edmond.
John is survived by his wife Gail, of the home; two sons, John William Douglas "Pete" Marrow, III and wife Darla of Durant, Okla., and Christopher Marrow of Madill, Okla.; one daughter, Kerry Sang of Madill; three step-daughters, Sarah and husband Artie Radford and Sherri Rains, all of Guthrie and Christie Amos of Oklahoma City; one brother, A.A. "Red" Wimbs and wife Ruby of Warwick, Okla.; two sisters, Rita Cook and husband Bob of Seminole, Okla., and Ida Byrd of McAlester, Okla.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Smith Funeral Home, Tuesday until 8 p.m.
