Funeral services for LaVona Marie Mans, 76, of Crescent were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at Resthaven Memorial Chapel in Wichita, Kan. Interment followed in Resthaven Memorial Park in Wichita under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home in Crescent.
LaVona was born Aug. 23, 1926 in Rogers, Ark. to Kirk Bailey and Lola George. She died March 16, 2003 in Crescent.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Crescent, the Lovell Progressive Club and the Rebekah Lodge, where she was a seated former Noble Grand.
She married Dale Mans on Sept. 14, 1946 in Dardanelle, Ark. He survives her.
