Mary Ann Dill, born August 24,1866 in Collin County, Texas to Roland and Margaret Morgan Dill. At the age of 3 her family moved to Hancock Co. Ill. She married Charles Wesley McKenzie. They moved to Oklahoma Territory in 1891 where her father and husband settled on a homestead on Iowa Indian lands. She later moved into Guthrie where she lived until her death on February 23, 1928. She is buried in Summit View Cemetery. Her surviving children are: William McKenzie, John W. McKenzie, Mrs. Lena Johnson, Mrs. Stella Christ, Mrs. Ethel Southwick and Charles O. McKenzie.
